Medigap Plan C

Medigap Supplement Plan C covers most of the costs that are left by Original Medicare except the Medicare Part B  excess charges which aren’t that common. 

What is covered under Medigap Plan C?

Plan C covers most of the healthcare costs and will supplement your Original Medicare because it covers:

  • Part A coinsurance 
  • hospital stay costs up to 365 days after Medicare benefits reach  their limit 
  • Part B coinsurance or copayment
  • First three blood prints
  • Part A coinsurance and copayment for hospice care
  • Skilled nursing facility care coinsurance 
  • Part A deductible
  • Part B deductible
  • 80% Foreign travel exchange

Plan C enrollment period

You can enroll in Plan C if you were eligible for Original Medicare and already enrolled in Medicare Part B before the 1st of January 2020 because of that year Medigap Plans no longer covers Part B deductible. Therefore, people knew to Medicare can no longer enroll in this plan but if you have your plan already and were eligible before you can keep it.

Medicare Supplement Plan C cost

Every supplement plan can vary according to numerous impacts but in general, your costs could be approximately  115 $ to 220$ a month.
